Recent projects

Maguire Media completed 2 project videos for Airtricity Windfarms in Summer 09.  Tournafulla Windfarm in Co. Limerick and Coomacheo Windfarm in Co. Cork.  Both productions followed the construction of the windfarms from October 07 to final completion in 08 and opening in 09. Aerial shots of the completed windfarms were used to great effect to show the scale of the projects. Maguire Media also produced Video News Releases which, were shot in Tournafulla for Global Wind Day in June of 09.

 Zero Grazing Systems Ltd, required us to produce an 8 minute video about theri product the Zero Grazer. This was shot in September of 09 with a delivery date of  21st September in time for the National Ploughing Championships. Here’s what the MD Niall O’Reilly of Zero Grazing Systems had to say about the video:

“Maguire Media produced a promotional DVD and streaming clip of our product the Zero Grazer. We had the video made especially for the National Ploughing Championships, here in Ireland. The video worked a treat on the day, there was a lot of interest in our product, the video caught the eye and people stayed to watch ask questions and the most important thing enquires and sales!

Cavan Chamber of Commerce and Cavan Town Council in Summer 09 tasked us with the production of a 15 minute video, 2 web video clips and a promotion for County Cavan’s All-Ireland Fleadh bid. These productions were presenter lead by Alison Murphy of BBC Holiday Fame. The productions were shot and edited in a contempoary style to portray Cavan Town and it’s surrounding area as a place to shop relax and have fun. The final production was duplicated to 5,000 DVDs and Flash video clips for the websites of Cavan Chamber and Cavan local Authorities.

 

 

 

 

Maguire Media produced a half hour sports production for Sky Sports Xtra, on the Irish Road Bike Championship. This involved 5 cameras on an OB and 7 cameras ENG.  We used Steadicam on the starting grid for smooth shots of the riders line-up moving through. The schedule was tight as this was sport, shot on Sunday, edit started Sunday night with delivery to Sky TV on the Tuesday morning for broadcast on Wednesday afternoon. We met the deadline!

 

 

 

 

 Lightning Strikes:

Maguire Media produced a 45 minute promotional video for band, Lightning Strikes. We used 4 cameras, 3 on tripods and 1 on the Steadicam. The audio was mixed live and some audio work was also done on pro-tools in post. This production was broadcast on Dublin based City Channel in June 09.
